An atmospheric interior of Burgos Cathedral in Spain. This accomplished etching relies on dramatic lighting picking out the ornate pillars and heavily shadowed, vaulted ceilings to create an intense atmosphere. Figures in the foreground give scale to the cathedral's size. The artist has signed on the plate line in pencil and the image has been signed within the plate. Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some mount burn outside the plate lines and a small scratch to the left had side outside the plate lines.
