Description

A finely detailed oval portrait of a gentleman by the artist Amy Giampietri in coloured chalks. On card. Presented in an oval card mount. Signed and dated lower right. There is an old Samuel Jennnings label which reads 'Samuel Jennings "Carver, Gilder & Printseller' affixed to the backing board (presumably from the previous frame). Signed and dated.

Condition

Age toning and darkening visible. Small scattered spots of white surface discolouration present. Wear and losses to mount edges. Water damage to upper right section of mount.
