Description
An original watercolour scene by Alfred Gomersal Vickers (1810–1837). A tall windmill rises above a coastal quayside, its sails caught against a wide expanse of washed sky, while a moored boat and a scatter of figures gather along the timber jetty below. Well presented in a gilt effect frame with a white card mount. Signed and dated to the lower right, just visible by the mount edge. On paper.Condition
Even discolouration to the watercolour. Minor marks to the card mount. The frame has light surface wear. Overall, the artwork is in good condition for its age.
