(fl.1904-1931). Many of the artworks depict Her Majesty’s ships and other boats in harbour or dry dock. A continental artist, Simpson also largely depicted village scenes throughout France, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Many of the artworks depict Her Majesty’s ships and other boats in harbour or dry dock. Evidently a continental artist, Simpson also largely depicted village scenes throughout France, Spain and the United Kingdom. Some are signed and all are undoubtedly by the same hand.
