A haunting lithograph depicting the retreating Serbian civilians during the 1915 Serbian 'Great Retreat'. Here the artist has sketched the refugees during their journey through Albanian mountains. Inscribed to the lower left "Ritirarsi Serbo...". Printed on wove laid to backing paper. Signed and dated '12/1915' in the plate and also signed in pastel by the artist on backing paper. With a seal from the Ministry of the Navy, Special Office.Condition
With some minor discolouration and creasing to the paper. Overall in good condition.
