Description

A lithograph depicting the retreating Serbian military during the 1915 Serbian 'Gret Retreat'. Here the artist has sketched soldiers fighting for bread rations to be handed out. Inscribed to the lower left "Ritirarsi Serbo...". Printed on wove laid to backing paper. Signed in the plate and also signed in pastel by the artist on backing paper. With a seal from the Ministry of the Navy, Special Office.

Condition

With some minor discolouration and slight foxig. Overall in good condition.
