Albert B. Ogden studied at Blackburn School of Art, Leicester School of Art and Cardiff College of Art. He went on to teach, becoming a senior lecturer in painting at Keswick Hall College of Education, Norwich and eventually became head of Art there.
He was a chairman and council member of Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle and a member of the Norwich 20 group. Exhibiting widely in the UK in both group and one man shows, he has been represented by venues such as: Norwich Castle Museum, Norwich Assembly House Gallery, Norwich Maddermarket Theatre Gallery, Manchester Academy, Mark Gallery London and many more. His work is also held in public and private collections around the UK, Europe and America.
