Direct from the artist's studio of work - this stunning hyper-realistic still life depicts a potted monstera deliciosa or Swiss cheese plant with copper kettle and terracotta pots. Well-presented in a handsome green and gilt frame. Initialled to the lower right. On canvas on stretchers.Condition
Slight yellowing to the varnish layer and light scratch marks near centre of the canvas. Various scuffs and scratch marks visible on the painted frame.

Artist Biography
Albert B. Ogden studied at Blackburn School of Art, Leicester School of Ar and Cardiff College of Art. He went on to teach and was a senior lecturer in painting at Keswick Hall College of Education, Norwich and eventually became head of Art there.
He was a chairman and council member of Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle and a member of the Norwich 20 group.
He exhibited widely in the UK in both group and one man shows in venues such as: Norwich Castle Museum, Norwich Assembly House Gallery, Norwich Maddermarket Theatre Gallery, Manchester Academy, Mark Gallery London and many more.
His work is also held in public and private collections around the UK, Europe and America.
