A charming oil scene after William Hogarth. The scene shows servants carrying gentry through the streets of London. Friction is shown between the different social sectors and their appears to be a disagreement between the people in the carriage and the people carrying it. Unsigned. Presented in a gilt frame. On board.Condition
There is some light cracking to the panel and some marks to the surface of the paint. Inspection under UV light reveals some restoration. There is wear to the frame giving it a distressed look.
