A charming early 20th Century original Pears lithographic print after an original painting by Philip hermogenes Calderon RA (1833-1898), entitled 'Captain of the Eleven'. The scene depicts a young cricketer at the wicket, in a garden, with a gaze of concentration. Well-presented in a wide solid wood frame with inner gilt beading, as shown. Unsigned and inscribed. Condition
In very good condition overall. Some light surface abrasion to the upper left. The frame has minor scuffing to the corners, but is in fine condition overall.
