A fine 19th century watercolour copy of Italian Renaissance painter, Moretto's, Portrait of a Man. Dated in Roman numerals to the lower right (1562). Presented in an ornate gilt effect frame with delicate running patterns and floral ornamentation at the corners. Unsigned. On paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some discolouration and light marks to the watercolour. The gilt effect frame shows signs of wear with light scratch marks and scuffs on all rails.
