Helena Jane Maguire (1860-1909) was a London-born painter and illustrator. She was the daughter of painter Thomas Herbert Maguire (1821-1895) and a sister of artist Adelaide Maguire (1852-1875). Helena worked in both oils and watercolours, her forte being animals and figures. Probably taught by her father, she showed at the RBSA, Dudley Gallery, Dowdeswells, ISSPG, Walker Art Gallery, MAFA, RA, RBA, RHA, RI, and SWA. She died in Burnham, Buckinghamshire.
