Description

After B.R. Haydon - Original 1821 Wood Engraving. Engraved by William Harvey, pupil of B.R. Haydon. Harvey's Dentatus has been described as 'probably the largest, certainly the most labored, block that had then been cut in England. It marked the crowning achievement of Harvey's career. Signed in plate. On chine-collé. This print is in need of restoration. There are large tears and fold creases as shown. Some discolouration but the print itself is largely in OK condition.
