A stunning early 20th-century floral work by German artist Adolf Hückel (1886–1970). This still life depicts spring flowers rendered in a beautiful Art Nouveau ceramic vase. Hückel captures tulips, narcissus and iris in a range of pink, purple, white and pale yellow with spear-shaped leaves and vibrant green stems that fill the panel. The vase features a deep teal-green glaze with organic relief decoration, continuing the floral theme. Well presented in a contemporary reeded frame. Monogrammed to the lower right and dated 1923. On panel.

In fine condition. Very minor wear to the edges of the frame.
