Artist Biography

Abe Kakepetum was born on Sandy lake in Northern Ontario, Canada and is a member of the Keewaywin Band. His name in the Saulteaux Language means "Glorious Forever". He started painting as a young boy. His art records the day to day traditions he knew as a child.
