Original 1833 Commonplace Album. One of the best scrapbooks we have come across. Quite large (30-25 cm) it is chock full of very good writings, hand coloured etchings, a bit of good quality watercolour and graphite drawing, and more. At least 64 double sided pages, virtually all as good as the samples we have illustrated. Many items monogrammed and dated 1833 or 1835. A real slice of late Georgian England.
