Description

An atmospheric painting depicting sailing boats at sea beneath a cloudy sky. Presented in an ornate gilt-effect wooden frame. Signed and dated faintly to the lower-left edge. Inscribed to the verso. On panel.

Condition

There is craquelure and some small paint losses across the work. There are some small chips and scuffs to the frame. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
