The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration caused by a fine layer of dirt on the canvas. Fixed to the reverse are several small patch repairs, concealed by overpainting to the front. There is a small nick in the canvas in the top left hand corner and abrasion marks around the outer edge.
