The artwork is skillfully finished in pen and ink detailing and signed in the bottom left-hand corner. The piece is well presented in a wood frame with a gilded inner border and a double mount.

The artwork is in fine condition. There are minor scuffs to the frame.

Artist Biography
A F Remmett produced many views of English countryside, including Devon, Yorkshire, Norfolk and predominantly Sussex. Remmett worked mostly in watercolour and pen but was also an accomplished draughtsman using graphite to create many studies of Renaissance master's works.
