Description

A fine 200th Century costume study. This full length portrait shows an actor (possibly Edouard de Reszke) as Wolfram in Wagner's 1845 opera, Tannhäuser. The drawing is unsigned and presented in a brushed green frame with internal gilt slip. On paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The frame has some tarnishing and chipping to the inner slip.
