A charming study of a ‘U’ Class 2-6-0 Steam Locomotive Southern 1618. This train was built in 1928 and ran in the South West of England. It was retired in 1964 but was saved from being scraped by a heritage group. It is not on static display on the Bluebell Line in Sussex. Unsigned. Presented in a gilt frame. On canvas.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the top right corner. Some light scuffing to the frame.
