An exquisite 20th Century embroidery using the most beautiful silk threads. The colours of the threads a wonderfully bright and the flat, directional stitches give the embroidery movement and a bright shimmer. There are hand embroidered kanji in the top left quadrant.
The embroidery has been presented in a contemporary cram frame with silver detailing and a green velvet slip.
On thin silk cotton.The embroidery substrate has minor discoloration but is in otherwise fine condition. The frame has a loss at the inner window at the left side.
