A study of two work horses in a coal mine. This snapshot of Britain in the 19th century is an interesting and important example of industrial history. Unsigned. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some surface dirt and craquelure. Some scuffs and marks to the corners of the canvas. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
