A pretty collection of Japanese silk circles depicting geishas holding different colours of Sakura blossoms. There are eleven smaller circles showing two designs repeated and finished with gold edging and a larger circle showing sakura branches in the centre and seated geishas around the outside, also edged with gold. Unsigned. On Pith Paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The largest circle of the collection has been folded several times and the fold marks are visible when unfolded. Two of the smaller circles have some marks to their surface.
