A delicate and highly detailed 19th Century gouache on pith paper, depicting a study of a black and white bird resting on a branch of surrounded by red flowers. Well presented in a card mount and a painted wood frame, as shown. Unsigned. On Pith Paper.

Condition

Overall in fine condition. There are two very minor splits in the substrate measuring 1cm. The frame is in fine condition.
