Description

A very fine example of a 19th-century French Rococo frame with high relief auricular ornamentation. The frame has excellent form and proportion with an aged gilt-effect finish. Measurements for the frame are: window size: 38.5cm x 28.5cm, frame size (at largest point of ornamentation): 45cm x 35cm, rebate: 40cm x 30cm.

Condition

There is a small loss to the top ornament and stable cracking present on all rails.
