19th Century Figured Rosewood Brass Inlaid and Banded Sewing Box

Description

This was a box of the very highest quality. The rosewood veneers are superb. The brasswork is superlative. The lock (original) is a Bramah, the very best but I do not have a key. It obviously has suffered over the years, but is well worth restoring as it can, once again, be amazing. The colour and patina and unsurpassed. 31 x 23 x 17 cm.
