19th Century Embroidery - Silkwork with Hand Painting Religious Subject

Description

Original 19th Century Embroidery. In a verre eglomise frame, with some minor knocks. The heads, hands and feet of the three figures are hand painted on paper which is laid down on the silk. Unsigned. Generally in good condition, the fabric is worn at the very top and there is a small hole about 4cm from the upper edge.
