A mid 19th century Chinese lacquer sewing box. The lacquer is quite worn on top as shown. There are bits of the interior fittings missing. There is no key. One of the rear feet has lost its front edge. Locks, interior knobs and escutcheons appear to be original. No major cracks or damage. Dimensions: 38cm long, 28cm wide, 16cm high.
