Painter, born in Calcutta, India. She studied art under Jack Merriott in Polperro, Cornwall, and went on to exhibit at the Chelsea Art Society, Leighton House Museum, the RI and SWA. She died in Budleigh Salterton, Devon. Her grandson was the artist Christopher Assheton-Stones.
