Original 1935 Album. The extant leather-bound album of black and white photographs documenting the Blackmore Vale Hunt in Dorset, dated 1935-1937. Mainly photographs of associated images of local scenes, landscapes, churches. Including some more intimate views with family members. With accompanying inscriptions locating and dating the views. Views include Sherbourne, Cerne Abbas, Exmoor. Many pages removed. 11 intact pages, with photographs laid down on both sides, plus 3 loose leaves. There is one watercolour painting with pen and ink laid down on the inside back cover. Unsigned. Some foxing on the album backing sheets. The 3 loose pages have some damage.
