Description
A early 20th Century etching with hand colouring and plate tone. The scene shows a bustling market in a cobbled square in Bruges. The artist has inscribed and initialed in pate and signed illegibly in graphite at the lower right corner. The original plate lines are still in tact. The publisher's details and dates are inscribed in pate at the upper edge. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There are two vertical water stains down the right edge and some bloom to the ink in the lower left quadrant. There is a pin hole in the upper left quadrant.
