Description

A watercolour en grisaille after a 1745 painting by La Bushe, itself after Claudio Lorense (Claude Lorrain) (1600-1682), in the collection of the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. Inscribed to the lower-left edge, 'Claudio Lorense - Coppyed by La Bushe 1745'. On laid affixed to wove at the corners.

Condition

There is some mild foxing and discolouration.
