Description

A highly unusual and entertaining scene in pen and ink with wash showing a group of traditional French clowns having a violent brawl while other characters look on perplexed, the character on the right scratching his head in confusion. The central clown has had his pantaloons pulled down and is being held by the head while another clown raises a stick to whip his bottom. The drawing is unsigned.
