Original 1896 Commonplace Album. A sketchbook of approximately 32 sketches. Mainly in graphite but one watercolour. The majority are single-sided. Dated 1896 and 1897, and variously inscribed with places names 'Volendam' and 'Horn'. The back cover and spine binding of the sketchbook is missing and the front cover is very worn. Unsigned.
