Original 1868 Picture Frame. A quite superb 1868 frame. With the original real gold leaf gilding. Condition is incredible, because this has always been in a sealed velvet lined rosewood shadow box. To take a picture 25 x 20 cm if you remove the domed mount. The overpainted photograph in the frame now (and included in the sale) is 20 x 15cm and is dated 1868 on the back.. You have the choice of displaying this frame in the rosewood shadow box, or not. If you discarded the domed mount you could use this in landscape. In fine condition.
