Description

A view of Copt Hall (also known as Copped Hall or Copthall) in Essex. Presented in a handcut wash line mount and a distressed gilt-effect wooden frame. Unsigned. Inscribed with the title and date in plate to the lower edge, exposed through a window in the mount. On wove.

Condition

There is a closed tear extending across the lower-right corner from the centre of the lower edge. There is a small closed tear and some surface restoration to the lower-left corner. There are some small marks to the mount and minor scratches to the frame.
