Original 1854 Baxter Method Print. Printed on wove laid down on backing card which is embossed with a seal to lower -"The Day Before Marriage". 'London. Published by the Proprietor George Baxter, Patentee. 11 & 12 Northampton Square. March 1, 1854.' On wove. The picture itself is in fine condition with the exception of a couple of very small surface abrasions. There is age toning and foxing to the backing card and some deeper abrasions to the backing card in the upper margin.
