Description

A very interesting 19th century life sketch of a 'water carrier' in Madrid. These sellers would offer refreshment in the hot climate of Spain. Possibly signed with the initials 'P.L.' and dated 1846, with the title inscribed to the lower right. On paper.

Condition

Light foxing to the paper. Some marks and minor discolouration to the paper. The artwork is in very good condition for its age.
