Original 1811 Mezzotint. After a 1685 painting by Sir Godrey Kneller. A re-strike mezzotint. On watermarked wove paper stating: J. Whatman, 1811. Unsigned. On wove. Some foxing as shown in photos. Small tear to left side outside of plate.

John Smith (c. 1652 – c. 1742) was an English mezzotint engraver.
