Walter Herbert Allcott (1880-1951) - Framed 1918 Watercolour, Misty Morning
DescriptionA charming watercolour study by listed British artist Walter Herbert Allcott (1880-1951). Allcott's impressionistic style and subtle colour palette lends itself well to this atmospheric subject matter. Well presented in a gilt mount and simple gilt effect frame. Signed and dated. On watercolour paper.
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There are some light foxing spots most visible to the sky area and losses to the frame, notably to the upper left corner.
