W. G. Lewis and Eilieen Lewis
William George Lewis (1882-1974) was a professional illustrator known for his work for Tablet Magazine, working mainly around the mid-20th century. His works, predominantly in watercolour or pen and ink, display wonderful precision and yet lightness of touch. Evidently from an artistic family – reference is made to both his father and mother painting – we also have a body of work by Eileen Lewis, presumed to be his daughter
