Description
A delightful study in the style of the Greek artist Georgios Kosmadopoulos (1895-1967). With areas of thick impasto. Well presented in a painted wood frame with linen slip. Although this work bears the signature of Kosmatopoulos we do not believe the work to be by his hand. On canvas on stretchers.Condition
The substrate is slightly discoloured with some surface dirt. Marks and scuffs to the frame. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
