Sidney Currie (act. 1892-1930) - Watercolour, Lily Flowers by Cottage

A charming watercolour painting by British artist Sidney Currie. The scene depicts a countryside view with several white lily flowers by a cottage. Signed to the lower left-hand corner. Well-presented in a washline card mount and in a distressed gilt effect frame. On watercolour paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and light foxing, mainly to the sky area. Minor surface marks to the mount and very small scuffs to the frame.

36.6 x 24.3cm (14.4" x 9.6")
Framed Size: 56.2 x 42.7cm (22.1" x 16.8")
