Rosemary Kennedy - 1981 Oil, The Bridge Below the Town

A carefully composed river landscape with a two-arched stone bridge and bank of trees, by the Irish artist Rosemary Kennedy. Using a natural palette, the artist has produced a sense of gentle light filtering through the tree canopy, with impressionist brushwork. Signed and dated. On board.

There are some areas of surface abrasion, with minor scuffing to the edges. Overall, in good condition.

47.1 x 57.8cm (18.5" x 22.8")
Sheet: 50.3 x 60.7cm (19.8" x 23.9")
