Percy Cecil Thurburn An oil on canvas laid down on hardboard. Signed and inscribed on original label on reverse. Excellent condition. In good condition in a good gilt frame. Percy Cecil ("Powder") Thurburn (1869-1961) was a Cornish Artist.. Painter of marine subjects, landscape, still-life and birds; most of his work is in private collections. The Polytechnic Arts Committee, Falmouth exhibited 'Paintings by The Helford Artist P C Thurburn', listing 65 paintings lent by 12 lenders and the painter himself.
