Description
An interesting pair of oils, possibly on a printed base, depicting a womand and a man, likely to be husband and wife. The sitters appear to be rural farmers, both relaxing with tea and food in a farmhouse interior. Presented in a similar sized matching gilt wooden frames, as shown. Unsigned. On panel.Condition
There are several areas of surface loss to both works, with heavy craquelure in places, and other surface marks. The frames have some small moulding losses and areas of restoration, mainly to the edges and corners. Sold for restoration.
