Mary Pierce - 20th Century Charcoal Drawing, Study of a Woman
DescriptionAn impressive charcoal study showing a woman turned to the side. Pierce has given particular attention to the facial features, capturing the expression of the sitter. Unsigned. On wove.
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some light foxing across the page, a crease to the upper left corner and a minor tear to the upper edge. Also with a number of surface scratches which has disturbed the surface of the medium.
