Mana Lagerholm (1946-2001) - 20th Century Gouache, The Carrot

An interesting drawing by the Swedish artist Mana Lagerholm, painted using gouache, watercolour, graphite and coloured pencil. The drawing depicts an outdoors view with three figures and peculiar objects. The two furthest figures are holding a carrot. This is a modernist piece with naive elements, where the artist has composed a daily scene from a highly expressive and sensitive perspective. Well-presented in a card mount. Unsigned. On watercolour paper.

Overall in good condition, with some surface marks to the main image and mount.
