After leaving school, Malcolm Rogers was apprenticed in the City of London to a Commercial Art Studio, producing material for the Press, Magazines and Music Publishers.

During this period he studied part-time at the Clapham School of Art, and later at the Epsom School of Art and Design, successfully combining a business career with painting, until moving to Sussex in 1979, thereafter making this a full time pursuit.

He has received international art awards from France (Gold and Silver Medals, Paris Salon); Florida, U.S.A.
